End

My mid semester break's almost up and so far i've finished two things out of the six i was suppose to finish by the end of this week and i'm officially broke. yay me! no more shopping for me. i was suppose to finish up my
EAB001 reading and notes,
EAB008 reading and make notes,
EAB008 Assessment,
EDB001 reading,
EDB008 IRT Assessment and
notes and transfer all my lecture notes into a notebook.
so far i've done two, my EAB001 and my IRT. so awesome and classes start on tuesday. not to mention the fact that i'm off to the Southbank market tomorrow with Winnie. Damn awesome.

i'm so lazy to do anything now a days i just want to bum around, sit in the grass and talk for endless hours. owh and not to mention shop (: no matter how far or how hard it is to get there when yu ask me if i want to go shopping i would definitely go. i am a shoppaholic, yes i know. but are yu considered a shoppaholic if yu just go window shopping? just wondering (: i bought a Paris Hilton perfume for AUD35 and its 100ml. so i think its quite reasonable *jumps around for joy* i miss ICPU i know the workload there is much more than here but heck i'd rather do more assignments than have more readings. i hate my textbooks, they're so boring and not to mention expensive. for the past three days i havent done crap.

i went to Chermside with Winnie yesterday, city the day before and today to the Fortitude Valley (Chinatown). Its scary in the valley because all the pubs, clubs, stripper clubs, live nude shows and all are there. When we got there, our bus stop was like right outside a nude club, there were a couple of drunks lying on the floor and on the chair and all, this was 3pm in the afternoon woi! Not fun! anyways i went to buy some ingredients to make char siew pau and Winnie went to get some ingredients for her chinese dumplings. urgh! this butcher gave me 500grms of pork shoulder to cut. damn alot wey! and my homestay mum's knife was so blunt i couldnt even cut the meat properly, i used up all my energy to cut the meat in hopes i dont have to sharpen the knife but eventually i ended up sharpening it and it was a little better. eventually when i sliced the pork into thin slices i used the scissor to cut them into little thin pieces. and how they're in the fridge, soaking up all the taste, flavour and smell.. yumm (:

owh and over the holidays i got bored i decided to make some chocolate chip cookies and clean my converse. i know two randomly different things but yea. i bought shirts for my brother and my sisters (: i'm still looking for a shirt for my dad and a bag for my mum. see i'm such an obedient daughter. i love them to bits. when i go back in november am going to get stuffs for the awesome people back in msia. see i love my friends too. and i miss them like crazy! i just want to squeeze until they scream due to the lack of breath. my internet's been running slow lately. i think its because aussie only allows one's internet to dl 20GB per month and i didnt know that until today. so crappy, everything is considered to be downloading, even opening up google.com. i am going to run to campus to dl movies now. ngek ngek ngek (:

i know am suppose to update on the rest of the stuffs listed in the last post but am so darn lazy. and the reason why am blogging now is because i am suppose to do some readings and i dont feel like it, therefore the randomness in the post. and there's a party going on behind my house, there are girl screaming and guys singing and laughing and all so its blardie hell noisy therefore i cant concentrate, good excuse? LOLs i dont think so.

its getting cold here and i dont have any long sleeves shirt. its 15degrees tonight and i cant stand cold or heat but yeaa. but i have a hell lot of jumpers but i dont want to bring a jumper everywhere so am going to go get myself a couply of long sleeve shirts. Just to keep me comfy. i miss my cowss! they're all in subangg stuck in a box. i hope they're well ): everyday is 1m 38seconds shorter. but there wont be much of a difference in winter here just colder during the mornings and evenings.

anyways i have to call my mum (:

Easter Celebration at Stafford Heights Primary

Classes start at 4 today so i went to Bella's (Homestay mum's granddaughter) school's easter celebration. Alot of food, candy, chocolates and SUGARR! and i mean alot! they had sprinkles on a piece of bread. They even had a teacher dress up as a bunny.. kesian wey.

Southbank Parklands and Roma St. Parklands

today our classes were cut short. Normally on tuesday i would have class from 9-11(EDB001) lunch and then classes again from 12-2(EAB008). but today we were suppose to go in for 20mins only for our EAB008 class to review what we have done so far for our Assessment. i havent done anything, Ben hasnt and Anna hasnt. Ben e-mail our tutor and told her that he was sick. Anna and i didnt want to do that so i kpet trying and trying to figure out how to do the work we were suppose to. we had 20mins left and Ben suggested we head on to the city. Ben and Anna had another class after our EAB008 class which was EAB001 but it was canceled. So off we go to the bus stop i felt really bad for not going to class and when the bus came we got on and i was ready to back out but i was told by Anna to sit. Ben being so tall and long legged he couldnt fit his legs into the "space provided" so he had to stick it out and was blocking everyone's way. Anna and i were laughing our heads off.

We got off at Southbank and the place was awesome.. the sun wasnt basking over our heads or anything it was a good day for a walk. i started taking pictures of the awesome view and Ben was going, "yu typical asian." he's getting me back for laughing at him in the bus and he's getting Anna back by calling her short, thou Anna and i are of the same height. We walked from Southbank, across the bridge, over to QUT to the city and then to Roma Street. When we got there we bummed around and talked. saw kids walking past and started teasing them (Ben was the only one doing it actually) and Anna fed the duck while i was trying to take pictures of the awesome place.

Time for us to go.. Ben asked me to take the train back to the city whilst he and Anna need the train to go back. But i've never taken the train before and i've only got $5 bucks on me, so i dont know how much it costs and i might get lost. So when the both of them left i walked back to Queen St. and waited for the bus. My legs were so tired that i wanted to chop them off and carry it home. When i got home i was dead exhausted. off to bed for mee.. good nights.

Gold Coast Trip on St. Patrick's Day

Got up early in the morning, got ready and everything and off to the city to catch our ride to Gold Coast. This trip was organized by UQ foundation group. Winnie studies there, so she dragged me along this even. its so awesome $10 including transport and food. We got there too early so off to Big W we go for a little shopping.

Met some new friends in the city, Bonnie and Nicky.
Off to subway for some breakfast and off we went. Mind yu i only had yogurt for breakfast

Saw a damn hell lot of theme parks on the way like Dreamworld and all.
i always thought they would be by the beach but apparently i was wrong. it really did seem like they were by the beach in them pictures. owh and i saw houses with river access to their yatch in their backyard. so awesomee wey!
they turn pretty buildings into shops here.

we passed surfers paradise and off we go to a park for some food and games. surfers paradise looked so awesomeee! i was trying to contact jon so we could meet up the whole time i was there. But then sadly we didnt get to meet up. anyways back to the storryyy..

When we got to the park there was a wedding going on there..
aww so prettyy and also a kids birthday party at the other end.

played some volleyball with some of the UQ students. all of which whom i've never seen before in my whole life except 3; winnie, bonnie and nicky. half way through our ball fell into the river so we got this fella to dive into the water and get our ball back.
winnie and i then went to play on this swing thing.. well not a swim more like a see-saw with strings attached to it. and i saw a swing for people who are on wheelchairs (handicapped). damn awesome. then we had a tug of war game, soccer and LUNCH! yes lunch we were all oh so hungry. and it smelled so good that all of us just rushed to the table and grabbed whatever we can. it seriously looked as if we haven't eaten for days.. one person was only meant to get one chicken wing. but i got 3 *jumps up and down* bonnie got 3 too.. where as winnie and nicky only got one each.
some group session chit chats in the end. and we're off to the beach. weee.. surfurs paradise here i come!
after the beach, showered and changed at McD's
got some fries to eat and off we went for a little shopping and when i say little i really do mean little. we only went to three shops, McD's, this souvenirs store and Boost; a juice booth.
two out of three are selling edible items. and in that one souvenir shop i got myself a plastic plate and a tshirt for mandyy.
the tshirt says
"when mummy says no, ask daddy"


got back to the city by 7. Bonnie and i were running high and low looking for a toilet. in the end we found one. we made it up to heaven and came back down once we released our piss. that was no joke. we held our pee for the past hour because we were late for the bus and we had to time to find a toilet. when times like these comes, what do yu do? yu hold it in and pray that yu reach yur destination before yur bladder explodes.

the city looks awesome at night but its empty, dangerous and all the drunks are out. while we were walking back to our bus stop a couple of drunk fellas came out from the pub and they were looking our way.. bonnie grabbed winnie and i and started running.
this somehow reminded me of that time in taylors with Elicia, Chui Yi, Hann Shaun, Yu Tiong, Eric and that freaky fella on the bicycle. Ahh i miss them all so so much.
i couldnt meet up with jon in the end. maybe i'll see him next timee..

Jollyy

ever wonder how nice it would be to sit in the grass, with the sun over yur head and the wind in yur hair? well thats what happened to me the other day, and the day after sitting on the bench, eating candy with the sun basking over my head and with absolutely no wind. results? a really good tan but only if yu were wearing a bikini, i was wearing a tshirt, so yu get the picture..

my arm has two colours now and i'm off to Gold Coast on saturday for a day trip.
why does this have to happen to meeee?!

anyways, Hannah and i decided that we would like to be fat people because fat people are jolly and the only way yu can get fat is by eating alot. we've been visiting the lollie shop. how fat are we going to get? lets just say that we spend $7 each on candy and its $1.90 per 100grms.

ever wonder why they always call fat people jolly people? i think its due to the sugar content. they just get so overly hyper that they're jolly. so awesome! no more emo days for me. 55kilograms here i come! and whenever i tell Hannah that i'm going to do some exercise, she'll always remind me that i have to be fat and jolly, telling me that we'll get fat together. but she has a bf ): and i dont. LOLs. anywayss..

when we told Beth today, she said she'll join us too and instead of candy, she'll go for cadbury chocolate. three eventually fat jolly people. how cool is that? i have this feeling that i would start exercising soon because even as i write this blog entry, i'm scaring myself.

tuesdays with MATES

Every tuesday morning,
MATES meeting with Bethany
MATES is a Mentor Assisting Transition Education Students Program
anyways, when i got there today i saw Ben sitting there,
Ben is in 3 of my classes and all of my lectures but i've never talked to him until today.
he joined my MATES meeting and we had a good laugh and chat.
i'm not a morning person, but after all that walking just to get to uni, i became one.
had classes, my LN class is so hilarious, it seems so useless to me,
the workshop last week was on how to use blackboard and this week was how to use google.
I LOVE ICPU
it prepared me from everything.

after class had a one hour break, so i had lunch with Ben and Tim
the food here is so bloody hell expensive wey!
*smacks head*
Ben and i brought food, so Tim was the only one who ate.
and it took them like half and hour to get the food ready,
but the plate was hugeee!
damn worth it (:

back to class,
Anna and i were playing with road kill.
we had this assignment where by we were asked to
identify the kids game on oral, written and multimedia text.
and there was a big kiwi and a little kiwi puppet inside, kiwi meaning the bird, not the fruit.
Anna and i were playing with the kiwi while everyone was busy figuring out the assignment.
then the kiwis started moulting, it was so scaryy..
so i chucked the kiwi to Anna and she kept saying it was cute,
whilst Ben and i kept going
"No its not."
"Whats wrong with yu?"
it was so hilarious
then after class,
we just sat on the grass and talked for like 2 hours.
fun.
they had class and i had to go to the city and get book my flight back to Brunei in June.
I can seriously say that i thought i got lost..
i kept walking and walking and everytime i see a travel agent i would walk in and ask,
" hi erm do yu know where the royal brunei airlines office is?"
and they say the same thing,
"keep going down a couple of streets and it'll be on yur right"
omg! i think i walked for like 20mins!
i finally found it and all that fella did was ask
"when?" type type type, print "okay yur booking's confirmed"
*faints*
and i had to walk all the way back to catch the bus
angry.. exhausted wey!

1st in Brizzie

i was late for class today,
not because i couldnt wake up but because there was a terrible traffic jam.
i was annoyed and i forgot to check where my class was, so i was lost.
So not only was i late, i had to go to the lab to check where my class was, i was only 15mins late.
it wasnt that bad.

2 tutorials today and we're free for 5 hours, but tut finished early so we had like a 6hr break.
so Hannah, Chantel and i went to the city and caught a movie.
RUN FAT BOY RUNit wasnt that bad but it could be better.
Funny thou.
Both of the bought like a bag of M&M and a bag of Maltesers
The cinema was huge but i think there were only like maybe 15 people inside.
But we got into the cinema early and laughed our heads of inside talking about rubbish.
Chantel was trying to not spend money, so she went back to uni after the movie.
Hannah and i went shoppingthose two are so hilarious, we laughed like mad in the cinema.
Hannah and i shopped like crazy.
