Fun in the Sun
Just found out that am being kicked out of my homestay
so i've got to find a place by the 12th or else
i'm sleeping in a box until i go home
Went to the Southbank Beack today
for some fun in the sun

Touchdown
Friday, the day before. I didnt do much today, dropped Cindy off at the Public Library and went out for Dim Sum with Mum and Mandy. Went to school to pick Andy up and later on Cindy. Went for buffet lunch at Millennium with Aunt Rose, Jon, Andy, Cindy and Mandy. The food there wasnt that great, a bit of a disappointment right there. Went home and out again with Mum, Dad and Mandy to the bank and to get some donuts. Got home, onto a little online session and out for dinner. After dinner, got home showered and got everything packed up and ready to go.
When we left the house and coming up towards the airport, Cindy called and told me I forgot my Brisbane phone. HOLY SHIT! I wanted to get my dad to turn back because we left early, like 3hours early! But she told me that my uncle was coming to pass me the phone and to send me off. So okay lor. Checked in, and was nearly over the weight limit. I was given 20KG with 5KG allowance. My one bag weighed 24.9KG. Awesome estimation. Then i had a luggage, laptop bag and a backpack with me that would be brought onto the plane. Jon and Ying came to send me off. Yeap yeap. Then I saw this chick, she looked vaguely familiar but I cant recall where I've seen her. I've seen here before once at The Mall but when I asked Andy if he's seen her before, he said no. Then we saw Izan and my Mum went over and talked to her. Izan was here to send that chick off. Only then did I find out where I've seen her. She's doing the same course I am, we're in the same lectures and exam hall, DUH! I've seen her before. Sheesh.
Her Mum thought Jon was my boyfriend. Frankly everyone thinks Jon is my boyfriend now a days. I guess yu can say its sorta good because my homestay mum is trying to patch me up woth this guy and I dont want to be hooked up, so I'll just use the pictures of me and Jon to ... yu know, get myself unhooked :D Yeap yeap, thats the only way.
Dad was exhausted, I could tell (because he kept yawning and pestering me to go in!) Anyways, I told them to go and Jon could stay with me because there was still 1hr 15mins before boarding time. But dad wanted to see me go in. So went in early lor and bore myself to death. When I got in, I saw Nazri and Fakri's parents, so had a little chat with them to kill time. Got onto the plane and met this chick who knew both Charles and Clements. Boy do i miss the both of them. According to her, the both of them are doing quite well (: Thats good to hear.

Party or Sleep
Last day of exams today.
Got to uni and it was as if no one was studying. The whole course was sorta like broken up into two groups; one that is all dressed up to go party after the exams and the other so dressed down as if they came in their PJ's preparing to finish off the exams and go to home and sleep (: As for me, i was ready to go hunt down Cindy's outfit for Peter and Jen's wedding.
My fingers were cramming up due to too much writing :D But i managed to finish it early and rush off to the City to get Cindy's vest. Met up with Winnie, bought some stuffs and went home to pack. Yay! Am going home tmrw (:

Owned Alien Essay
Here's the thing, ever wondered why i hate EDB006 so much? If yur answer is no, bugger off. if you dont care, screw yu. anywaysss.. EDB006 is a subject that has absolutely no relation what so ever to what i am studying. This unit was about how libraries came to be, how to form groups, the -isms of things, understanding pictures/visuals and how the came to be, how to process online information and etc. bunch of craps! yucks!
Whats worse was that my assignment was to write about space exploration and our group decided to focus on Extraterrestrial life. It wasnt even a freaking hell group work okay! the assignment was worth 60% of our grade and only 10% was for group work! group work my ass la! But i did do the work and our refined topic was 'Is there Extraterrestrial life?' and i became the Astrobiologist. dont know what that is? well its a person who looks at the living environments of Extraterrestrial. How cool is that? except for the fact that the world has never seen ANY fucking extraterrestrials! how would anyone know how an extraterrestrial habitat look like? Sheeshhhh.. But i did my stupid screwed up essay and hoped to get a passing grade.
There it is. its hard to read but yu dont have to read it, its fucked up. hahahaha.. awwww, my screwed up essay. I thought i was going to fail this assignment, but ..

The pow-waaa of tea
okay i have officially not slept for 24 hours. i'm so exhausted!
well at least i got all my points for 2 of my exam papers. hooray!

i'm too tired to even jump or twirl.
2 1 more to go! well for next week anyways. i have 5days to study for the last one so.. nyehh.
how i manage to keep myself awake? drink chinese tea lor! this is the most awkward thing ever, i sleep like a dead cow when i drink coffee and when i drink tea, my eyes are as big as an owl! *hoot?* i think i got this curse from my dad! he yawns after 15mins of finishing his coffeee.. awkwardd. well i guess its not a curse cos caffeine is badd!
i had a sip of Hannah's vanilla coke today.. god! i forgot how good vanilla coke tastee.. *ahhhhh..satisfied and content* yum! after 5months of not have any softdrink.. (does beer count? *grinns*) i forgot how it made me feel all tingly, cravvyyyy and wanting for more. hell! i think i looked like i was turned on by that one measly tiny sip of vanilla coke!
somehow i study better at night. must be because i have this lack of concentration. Heck i could even study in the library, i get distracted by the people walking by me. pissed off okay! i'm going to turn nocturnal soon. sleep during the day.. wake up at night to studyyy.. its works better. although its kinda scary having the whole southern part of the world asleep and you're the only one thats awake! freakkyyy.. imagine if people never wake up.. *hrmm* CHOI! dont simply say say! CHOI! CHOI! TOUCHWOOD! i dont want to look as stupid as Will Smith in that retarded i am legend movie..

i need caffeine

Last Day Sem One
Yay! i've made it through my first semster. No photos thou, i just dont feel like taking any pictures without my camwhore buddies, they're all in malaysia. Anyways, i finished class early, so i met up with Winnie in the City and off we went to Chermside to get her boots. $99.90 okay! for a pair of boots! thats crazy! i'm just gona get me the $30 one. She got hers but i didnt get mine, still deciding on it (: should i get boots? because my converse and my adidas shoes arent keeping me very warm now. Oo! We got popcorn too, chocolate and caramel. it was good but a tad bit too sweet for me.
I havent seen sun in 3 days! Today being the third day. it has just been raining constantly and its getting colder. i used to complain about the stupid sun giving me a tan, now i just need the sun to keep me warm :S This sucks!

update!
We had a blackout! the whole neighbourhood was dark as hell! I was watching tv while reading my book (waiting for commercial to end) then suddenly it went dark outside, and in 2 seconds our house was dark, like pitch black! Winnie and i were the only ones at home and she was in her room. She's terrified of the dark so when the lights went out, i heard "whhheeeennnnddddyyy.. i'm scareeddddd.. wheennndy". hahahaha i calmly walked to her room. i got used to blackouts. seeing how we had at least 7 blackouts in a single day back when i was still in Ridzuan. Apparently only Stafford and Stafford Heights had blackouts. i called Narcisa and i took Winnie outside to sit, as it was brighter outside than it was inside (: The night sky was orange.. pwetttyyyy.
Apparently it wasnt a blackout they just reduced out voltage as there was light on the filament of out bulbs. Heck there was even a small dim light on my heater. Narcisa came home and lit candles all around. There was this eerie yet romantic feeling, thou we were all chicks. Slept with my shades open. Used the natural light of the night sky (:
Was trying to get ready for bed, playing with my phone, setting up a playlist and all. The suddenly, this bright yellow light was shining behind me. i looked back and saw that the heater was back on. Yay! electricityyy. i didnt even need the electricity to come back on, cos it was cozy. but i did need my heater. thats the only thing that require electricity at night. piffs. i know its dangerous to just leave it on, but what do yu want me to do?! its so effing cold!
anyways.. off to study. tata

Tan or not to tan
My innocence went out the window today, fine maybe it jumped out a long time ago but today it just went off a cliff, crashed and died just like that *snaps fingers*
its feral so am not going to repeat it. One thing's for sure, I'll never look at straws the same way ever again.
I finished my lecture at 9 today. Started at 8 and it finished at 9. I could've gone home at 9 but it was too cold! Whats worse was i wore my havieees (havaianas slippers) because i was late and was not able to put my converse on and i had to run to catch the bus. It was freezing. Regret not checking the weather before i went out. Hot chocolate was good and for the rest of my day, i pretty much spent it in C Block talking to a whole heap of people. *counts with fingers* I sat there for 5 hours! Far out! I didnt even know i sat there for that long! Damn, now i know why there arent enough hours for me in a day.

I found out that there are 28 other Malaysians doing EDB006! Thats insane! How did i not know that? Michael told us that them Malaysians didnt know what Tanning Beds were. How could yu not know what tanning beds are? i know we have natural sunlight there but doesnt anyone remember a tanning bed accident? (not the one from Deuce Bigalow) Its not really an accident but yea.. the one where this 29 year old lady died of skin cancer after 7 years of using tanning beds. She was tanorexic. Meaning: people, usually white women and teen girls, who are very tan/dark in skin tone. Tanorexics are more specifically women who purposely get tan by either sunbathing frequently or by a fake bake. It was suggested that, like anorexics, they have an addiction to tanning and won't stop no matter how dark they get. Hence, the term tanorexic.
Its funny how everything here is like 'apply for a sun-kissed glow' or 'want your skin to look healthier? now with our new tanning lotion yu can!' and bla bla bla, where as when we were in Asia everything was 'Whitening Milk' or 'for clearer whiter skin' hahahhaha. Us human beings are never satisfied.

I found out that there are 28 other Malaysians doing EDB006! Thats insane! How did i not know that? Michael told us that them Malaysians didnt know what Tanning Beds were. How could yu not know what tanning beds are? i know we have natural sunlight there but doesnt anyone remember a tanning bed accident? (not the one from Deuce Bigalow) Its not really an accident but yea.. the one where this 29 year old lady died of skin cancer after 7 years of using tanning beds. She was tanorexic. Meaning: people, usually white women and teen girls, who are very tan/dark in skin tone. Tanorexics are more specifically women who purposely get tan by either sunbathing frequently or by a fake bake. It was suggested that, like anorexics, they have an addiction to tanning and won't stop no matter how dark they get. Hence, the term tanorexic.
Its funny how everything here is like 'apply for a sun-kissed glow' or 'want your skin to look healthier? now with our new tanning lotion yu can!' and bla bla bla, where as when we were in Asia everything was 'Whitening Milk' or 'for clearer whiter skin' hahahhaha. Us human beings are never satisfied.

Out of cash
Had a swollen lip and a cold the day before and
today i had to do my Learning Networks presentation. awesome huh?
it went quite well. and in our Lit. Tut we had a game..
'The Literacy Cup'.
we won! woohoo!
The Party of 5 won!
winning wasnt easy i had to write really quickly,
people were like throwing out ideas at me like crazy.
But we got lollies as prizes.
Dont want to spend money but have nothing to do?
why not go to the museum,
i know its boring and all but Anna and i had nothing to do. so why not.

Buddhist Festival
So according to Teeny the Buddhist festival is here at Southbank.
So we went after classes (: and came back for the last lecture from 5-6pm.
there was a lot of food but all of `em were vegetarian.
i bought me a "ba zhang" for $2.50 Aussie dollars, expensive yes i know
i never even like ba zhang before until i got here.
because before i was forced to eat it, now that no one is forcing me to eat it,
i actually miss it

now do yu see how that tends to happen?
how when finally no one is forcing yu to do something that yu hate, yu actually miss it?
okay, lets leave that topic for another day.

Although the queue to get these doughnuts were comparable to the queue for JCo.
