Gold Coast Trip on St. Patrick's Day

Got up early in the morning, got ready and everything and off to the city to catch our ride to Gold Coast. This trip was organized by UQ foundation group. Winnie studies there, so she dragged me along this even. its so awesome $10 including transport and food. We got there too early so off to Big W we go for a little shopping.

Baptist Church

Met some new friends in the city, Bonnie and Nicky.
Off to subway for some breakfast and off we went. Mind yu i only had yogurt for breakfast

Saw a damn hell lot of theme parks on the way like Dreamworld and all.
i always thought they would be by the beach but apparently i was wrong. it really did seem like they were by the beach in them pictures. owh and i saw houses with river access to their yatch in their backyard. so awesomee wey!
they turn pretty buildings into shops here.

we passed surfers paradise and off we go to a park for some food and games. surfers paradise looked so awesomeee! i was trying to contact jon so we could meet up the whole time i was there. But then sadly we didnt get to meet up. anyways back to the storryyy..

When we got to the park there was a wedding going on there..
aww so prettyy and also a kids birthday party at the other end.

played some volleyball with some of the UQ students. all of which whom i've never seen before in my whole life except 3; winnie, bonnie and nicky. half way through our ball fell into the river so we got this fella to dive into the water and get our ball back.
winnie and i then went to play on this swing thing.. well not a swim more like a see-saw with strings attached to it. and i saw a swing for people who are on wheelchairs (handicapped). damn awesome. then we had a tug of war game, soccer and LUNCH! yes lunch we were all oh so hungry. and it smelled so good that all of us just rushed to the table and grabbed whatever we can. it seriously looked as if we haven't eaten for days.. one person was only meant to get one chicken wing. but i got 3 *jumps up and down* bonnie got 3 too.. where as winnie and nicky only got one each.
some group session chit chats in the end. and we're off to the beach. weee.. surfurs paradise here i come!
after the beach, showered and changed at McD's
got some fries to eat and off we went for a little shopping and when i say little i really do mean little. we only went to three shops, McD's, this souvenirs store and Boost; a juice booth.
two out of three are selling edible items. and in that one souvenir shop i got myself a plastic plate and a tshirt for mandyy.
the tshirt says
"when mummy says no, ask daddy"


got back to the city by 7. Bonnie and i were running high and low looking for a toilet. in the end we found one. we made it up to heaven and came back down once we released our piss. that was no joke. we held our pee for the past hour because we were late for the bus and we had to time to find a toilet. when times like these comes, what do yu do? yu hold it in and pray that yu reach yur destination before yur bladder explodes.

the city looks awesome at night but its empty, dangerous and all the drunks are out. while we were walking back to our bus stop a couple of drunk fellas came out from the pub and they were looking our way.. bonnie grabbed winnie and i and started running.
this somehow reminded me of that time in taylors with Elicia, Chui Yi, Hann Shaun, Yu Tiong, Eric and that freaky fella on the bicycle. Ahh i miss them all so so much.
i couldnt meet up with jon in the end. maybe i'll see him next timee..
